MIDDLETOWN SEVENTH-DAY CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Remember to keep the Sabbath Holy! Sunset Tonight, December 26th is at 4:32 P.M. Sunset next Friday, January 2nd will be at 4:38 P.M.
  • It is HIS Birthday! Please designate your Christmas and end year gifts to the local Spring Evangelism. THANK YOU! 
  • Elder Dorrage Stephens will be hosting a “Straight Talk” youth rap session on controversial spiritual, social, and other relevant mature oriented topics that concern youth life, their crisis and development. All youth from 14 to 23 are invited to attend beginning January 9th from 3 to 4 P.M. The room venue TBA. These will be very serious life changing sessions. Phone and other digital gadgets WILL NOT be allowed in these sessions. 12 and 13 year old may be entry only by parent consent and demonstration of maturity. Every one attending must register for session. See Elder Stephens or Pastor Dyman. 
  • Condolences to Jude Alfred and the family for the loss of his mother.
  • Robert S. Folkenberg, an Innovative Church Administrator and Mission Advocate who led the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for nine years, died December 24, 2015 after a lengthy struggle with cancer. He was just days from his 75th birthday. His life’s passion was to share Jesus always in new ways. Middletown Church sends condolences to the Family and Church-at-Large.
  • All pathfinder parents please note that registration for 2016 closes this weekend. All paperwork must be completed and handed to the director, with relevant fees. Thanks.

  • Children's Ministries 2016 is well underway! Our theme is Training for the Lord's Army. We have a ministry T-shirt that I am asking all parents to buy for their children.   • December 27, 2015: Youth Holiday Banquet   
  • Kids are collecting lose change & bills for the ADRA clean water project. This project will help the children & families in places like Laos, Vanuatu, & Mozambique to have a clean water & good health. See Amy Filep, for details.  
  • The Registration for Pathfinders has already started... If your child is at least 10 yrs. old or in the 5th Grade, we ask you to join this ministry. As our Pathfinders prepare for the Bible experience (by reading Exodus, New King James Version), we ask you to pray for us and help us write questions & answers in assisting us in our study. See Sis. Jacquie Thompson, for more info. 
  • Pls. DONATE your lightly worn or new coats and winter clothing for the needy.
  • The Adult Sabbath School will be starting the 4th SS Class. The Teacher is looking for 7-10 students who study, be willing to interact in the class, & who will be on time each week. This is not your regular every Sabbath SS class. See Richard Mills, Sr. to sign up.
