Women's Ministries
The Women’s Department of the Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church is dedicated to nurturing, empowering, and inspiring women to deepen their faith and actively participate in the mission of Christ. We strive to offer spiritual, emotional, and practical support through fellowship, mentorship, and service, cultivating a community where women can flourish and find strength in one another. Each year, our Women’s Ministry leads a special community outreach initiative called Gifted Hands. This event provides our congregation with a meaningful opportunity to connect with our neighbors, build relationships, and share the love of Christ in practical ways. Through Gifted Hands, we not only serve our community but also invite them to get to know who we are as a church family.
All who work for God should have the Martha and the Mary attributes blended—a willingness to minister and a sincere love of the truth. Self and selfishness must be put out of sight. God calls for earnest women workers, workers who are prudent, warmhearted, tender, and true to principle. He calls for persevering women who will take their minds from self and their personal convenience, and will center them on Christ, speaking words of truth, praying with the persons to whom they can obtain access, laboring for the conversion of souls.
Children's Ministries
At the Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church, our Children’s Ministry is devoted to nurturing young hearts for Jesus and preparing future leaders who will joyfully carry the message of His soon return. Our department is active and vibrant, offering a variety of Bible-based programs and activities designed to help children build a strong, lasting foundation in God’s Word.
We guide children in their spiritual growth through Christ-centered education, worship, and fun, faith-filled experiences that encourage them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Our mission is to lead children to Christ, disciple them in their daily walk with Him, and equip them to serve others with love, kindness, and compassion.
We envision a generation of young disciples who are spiritually grounded, confident in their faith, and eager to share God’s love in their homes, schools, and communities.
"Children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward."
Men's Ministries
Our Men’s Ministry is committed to empowering men to live boldly for Christ. Through discipleship, fellowship, and service, we seek to equip men of all ages to grow spiritually and to faithfully fulfill their God-given calling. A strong emphasis is placed on mentorship, as we invest in developing young men and guiding them toward purposeful, Christ-centered living. We desire to build men who are confident in their faith and prepared to proclaim the gospel with integrity and passion.
“The greatest want of the world is the want of men—men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall."
Health Ministries
The Health Ministry is a vital part of the Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church. We believe God has given us a health message designed to restore us to His original plan for abundant living. Our ministry embraces the eight laws of health—Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust in God—as a holistic framework for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Through education, practical support, and lifestyle encouragement, we promote balanced living, proper nutrition, and regular physical activity as part of honoring God with our bodies. Our goal is not only to inspire healthier habits but to foster true healing and restoration for the whole person.
As part of our commitment to wellness, we offer monthly plant-based cooking classes for both our church family and the community. These classes provide simple, delicious, and nutritious recipes that support healthier living and reflect our belief in caring for the body as a temple of God.
"Health reform is one branch of the great work to fit a people for the coming of the Lord. And it is as closely connected with the third angel’s message as the hand is united to the body. "
Community Service Ministries
At the Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church, our Adventist Community Services (ACS) Department seeks to reveal the love of God through compassionate service. We are committed to meeting the needs of our community, building trust, and forming lasting relationships that reflect the heart of Christ’s ministry.
Through acts of kindness, practical support, and intentional outreach, ACS serves as a bridge between our church and our neighbors—demonstrating God’s care in tangible, meaningful ways. With Christ as our example, we desire to leave a positive, lasting impact on our community and to live out the calling to be His witnesses.
As part of our service, we offer a community food pantry to support individuals and families in need. Each year, we also host a Thanksgiving dinner, providing a warm, welcoming space for fellowship, connection, and gratitude.
Personal Ministries
The Personal Ministries Department of the Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church is devoted to sharing the gospel with our community and beyond. Through evangelistic series and ongoing outreach efforts, we passionately proclaim the message of hope, salvation, and the love of God.
Our mission is to equip and empower every believer to share their faith with confidence, compassion, and conviction. We believe that each member has a vital role in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ so that all may come to know, love, and serve the living God.
"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:".
Adventist Youth Ministries (A.Y.)
At the Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church, we celebrate and empower our youth—not only as the leaders of tomorrow, but as vital, Spirit-filled leaders of today. Our Youth Ministries Department is committed to mentoring, equipping, and inspiring young people to grow in their relationship with Christ, live with purpose, and serve boldly in His name.
Through dynamic programs, leadership development, and Christ-centered fellowship, we help youth discover their God-given gifts and use them to make a meaningful impact in their homes, schools, churches, and communities. Our mission is to guide young people toward a life of freedom, healing, and hope in Jesus Christ.
In a world filled with uncertainty and competing voices, we believe it is essential for our youth to understand what they believe and why. To support this, we offer a weekly Apologetics Bible study designed to strengthen their faith, deepen their knowledge of Scripture, and equip them to stand confidently for Christ.
"Adventist Youth are we, from every land and sea, Together we play and work and pray in happy harmony, We have a faith to share with others everywhere, A message of love from God above to show the world we care".
"Loving the Lord Jesus, I promise to take an active part in the youth ministry of my church, doing what I can to help others and to finish the work of the gospel in all the world".
